Excited to be joining Right at Home, celebrating the addition of Catherine Pooler inks to the shop. I have a set of notecards to share with you and a bonus card too. Giveaway details and the blog hop list can be found at the bottom of my post.
I had so much fun creating this cute rainbow themed notecard (4-bar) set. These birds are so cheerful and vibrant, (ink colors can be found under the individual photos, below). I used the Right at Home – Cozy Cardinal stamp set and Watercolor background set. This set is so versatile. These resemble cute little owls. I stamped the cardinals (owls) on a piece of Catherine Pooler White Premium cardstock measuring 2″ x 2-3/4″. I adhered the stamped panel to a coordinating piece of cardstock measuring 2-1/4″ x 3″. Then I stamped the watercolor background using the light color shade of the cardinal (owl) on to a 4-bar (3-1/2″ x 4-7/8″) white card base. The cards were then completed by adhering the panels to the card bases.

Here is a little bonus card. In Michigan we are still getting snow. The robins especially are a little confused. So this little bluebird is trying to help and is dreaming of Spring.
To create a bluebird I did some 2nd generation stamping with the Orange Twist and Juniper Mist. The bird and twig are die-cut using the coordinating cozy cardinal die set. The background was created with the Watercolor background stamp, this time making it resemble grass and the sky. I added the cute hearts because the bird is trying to butter up Mother Nature. The sentiment is from Right at Home Script Greeting stamp set and is stamped in black. The bird and branch are adhered to the background with foam tape. The panel is then adhered to a coordinating layer of cardstock and cardbase.
