Paper Smooches | June Challenge – Men

Time for some Paper Smooches fun. Awhile back I won a Paper Smooches giveaway. When I noticed the Kind Bear in the June 2017 release, I knew it was heading my way. Thank you, Kim, for the speedy shipping. This bear was super fun to create with and I thought the resulting card was a good fit for the Paper Smooches June Challenge – Men.

My Husband would appreciate this card. He is my teddy bear and I love him to pieces. He encourages me to spend time with flowers because we both enjoy the beauty. He also knows it is one of my happy places where I truly can relax and not worry about anything.

I stuck with mostly neutral colors for the bear and then a pop of radiant orchid for the flower. Black glaze was added to its eyes, nose and mouth. I also popped it up with foam tape to add a little dimension.

Here is a close-up of the card. My Husband is definitely one in a million. The touch of radiant orchid is a piece of me, because this is a favorite of mine.
