Hello Friends! Who is ready for another fun challenge at AAA Cards. This time we are challenging you to create a clean and simple one layer card with an optional twist of love.
Sending you a paper hug…..
Kindness means a lot to me. A great way to be kind when you are a cardmaker is to send your cards to family, friends and even strangers. I like to call them handmade smiles. (I have not been doing as well with this the last couple of years. I have allowed the chaos of ever day life get in the way. That makes me sad because it does bring me joy and I believe it matters. Yes, I am doing better this year and hope to continue to do more.)
The card I created for AAA Cards Challenge 133 uses a stamp set from The Stamp Market that makes me smile every time I see it. Using my MISTI I stamped it on the center of a white A2 (4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″) card base. Apply a light colored ink to the entire stamp and stamp. Using your favorite ink blending tool apply a medium shade of ink to the non-sentiment portion of the stamp and stamp. Then apply a darker shade to the edge and stamp. You can keep doing this until you are happy with the blending. I was not going for a “perfect” blend. I just wanted some color variation.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU PLAY ALONG WITH US AT AAA CARDS!

Oh how perfectly gorgeous! Love that sentiment and how you’ve achieved the ombre effect just makes it even more eye catching. Great tip to use a blending tool on the stamp – now why have I never thought of that?
